Product Review - AncordWorks Bluetooth Shower Speaker

AncordWorks

Bluetooth Shower Speaker

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars

Today I’m going to tell you about the AncordWorks Bluetooth shower speaker. It has many wonderful features & they give you a lot of accessories including an 8GB TF memory card, a USB card reader, ability to pair with your Bluetooth on devices to play the music but also to receive phone calls, has a long battery life, a charging cable and DC power for the cable, an awesome shock-absorbing exterior, super powerful sound quality and a certified IPX5 rating.

The instruction booklet is very easy to follow and understand. Most of the time I end up with instructions written in foreign languages, none of which I can understand. Just press and hold the power button for 3 seconds and you will hear a brief chime indicating it is turned on and it automatically is set to be in Bluetooth mode. If you insert the TF card, the music will automatically play and also pick up where it was last playing!  Now that's pretty cool!  :)

Have you watched the video at the top?
Have a look & listen so you can hear for yourself!  The sound is fantastic! No complaints whatsoever. The speaker is strong and gives wonderful play back.  On a full charge you could easily use this speaker for a good 1-2 weeks of sporadic playing of your music before needing a recharge.

Now let me explain the IPX-5 rating and what it means. This speaker claims to be waterproof however in my experience to be truly waterproof it must be able to be submerged in water with absolutely no entry points for water intrusion. Devices that have this capability are awarded and IPX7 rating. To receive the IPX-5 rating, it means the device offers protection from a 6.3mm spray of water (12.5 liters per minute) in any direction for at least 3 minutes.  There are other various tests performed including dust test to ensure the product is sealed and completely dust tight.  The other speaker I reviewed over a week ago has a rating of IPX-6, which is better.  So be sure to research before deciding which to purchase and in what type of environment you'll be using it in.

So while I will not agree that this is “waterproof” persay, it IS however water resistant. Meaning, it can be rained on, taken into the shower or even rinsed off. I would not recommend taking it with you into a swimming pool or bathtub or submerging this specific speaker into water as this may cause it to break.

I do love that it is shockproof.  Like their other speaker I reviewed, the casing is extremely durable and the silicone around the speaker helps to keep it protected when dropped or bumped.  The metal carabiner makes it easy to hang in your shower, a bicycle handle, pretty much everywhere.  Optionally, you could also use the suction cup they provide in the box.  Overall, I think it’s perfect for camping, fishing or maybe if you’re just on the go at work or on campus.  This would make a nice gift too!  Maybe upcoming Mother's or Father's Day? :)

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for discount or for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
