Product Review - Ancord Micro Bluetooth Speaker

Ancord

Micro Bluetooth Speaker

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars

I love Bluetooth speakers because they’re so convenient and typically have wonderful sound. This is officially the smallest speaker that I own! I do have another awesome Bluetooth speaker from Ancord that’s a little bit larger and is water resistant, unlike this micro speaker here.. so because my experience with that one was very positive, I naturally had high expectations for this little one. I will happily report that I was NOT let down! 🙂 Now don’t allow its small size to fool you because this tiny speaker packs a loud punch .. or rather volume!

This device features a built in mic so you can easily take phone calls with it if you are connected in Bluetooth mode. Using the power button you can also toggle between it functioning as a speaker or as a remote shutter button for your cell phone camera.  Check out the video above for a demonstration of this.

Along with the device you also receive a little instructional leaflet, a short micro USB charging cable and an optional cord that can insert into the headphone jack if your phone has one.  Some phones don't have the jack so you may end up not using this little cord.  Still, it's nice to have if you do have the option.

On a full charge with continuous play, this little speaker can last you for approximately 4 hours.  When it arrives, it does have a small charge to it already so you can’t expect it to last for more than about an hour and a half if you’re not going to charge it when taking it right out of the box. When the device was completely drained, it took approximately one hour to fully charge. Given its small size I would say that four hours of playtime is exceptional.

The sound quality overall is fabulous, both with low and high volume. The bass and treble are really good, again given its small size. I did NOT notice any major distortion in the sound coming from the speaker.  The range is also pretty good too.  I was able to keep my phone in my office and travel down our long hallway and into the kitchen before the connection started to become weak.

Pairing the device with your phone is a breeze. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. You don’t need a special pin number or code to enter as it will automatically connect once you select the device on your phone in the Bluetooth settings. The speaker will also automatically reconnect every time you turn the speaker on once you have initially paired successfully. If you would rather use this as a remote shutter for your phone camera you just have to “double click“ on the power button and you will hear a camera shutter sound indicating it is now swapped over to shutter button mode. Set your camera up and when you’re ready just press and release the power button on the device to take your photo. When you’re ready to use the speaker again, just “double click“ on the power button and you will hear another chime indicating it is now swapped over to speaker mode.

Overall, this is a fantastic portable speaker. I am very impressed with the quality and performance and all of the features. I think this would make a great gift for almost anyone. If I were to give any suggestions of ways to improve this already superb product from Ancord.. I guess I would love to see more color options available, a storage pouch to put everything in when it is not in use and perhaps a future model could have a slot for a micro USB card as an option.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for discount or for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
