Book Review - A Father for Christmas (A Holiday Romance) [Ebook]
This is my first book that I've read - so far - by author, Rachelle Ayala and I must say.. I'm impressed! The story line and writing style is engaging, loving, warm and uplifting. I look forward to reading more from her. :)
In this Christmas themed romance, little Bree Kennedy has a perfect Christmas wish for herself and she has no problems letting Santa know. Her mother, Kelly, is single, struggling and convinced they can survive just fine without "a new papa" for Bree. Survive they can but hearing out loud and knowing her daughter wishes for a new father takes Kelly's heart on a second chance journey for love.
Tyler Manning is a strong, proud, damaged, Veteran with PTSD and has struggles of his own.. He doesn't believe he's worthy of having a happy Christmas given the things he's seen and done in wartime. Bree chooses Tyler as her "new father" and the struggle between him and Kelly begin.
Neither of them want to break Bree's heart or destroy her beliefs in miracles or Santa. They make a promise to keep up a cherade while fighting their TRUE feelings for each other.
Grab a cup of cocoa or coffee, snuggle up in a warm blanket and let this book take your heart on a Christmas flight of love and happy endings!
