Product Review - The LISTERINE® 21-Day Challenge Sampling

The LISTERINE® 21-Day Challenge Sampling

Recently, the fine folks at Crowdtap allowed me to join in on the LISTERINE® 21-Day Challenge Sampling mission. I received 2 full-sized bottles total.. 1 to keep and the other to share with family and friends and anyone else willing to try Listerine!

I had tried Listerine in the past when I was a kid and was not a huge fan! Then again, I can't imagine many kids liking the strong taste and feel... Normally, we don't use mouthwash in our dental routine so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to get ourselves on the right track and see what kind of difference it would make.

It took several days of usage for us to get our mouths used to the tingling and slight burning sensation of the Listerine Cool Mint. Jerry and I both noticed that our breathes stayed fresher longer and our teeth were noticeably brighter, if not whiter, after several weeks of continuous use.

It's definitely strong and takes some getting use to - but I highly recommend it and since doing this challenge, we've become fans of Listerine and will be buying more bottles!

Product Review - Pictures On Gold

On October 28, 2013 - Pictures On Gold announced on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages of a new contest. "World's Funniest Photo"

1st place prize was a solid 14K gold locket with photo engraving with total value at over $700. 2nd place was also a gold locket, slightly less in value but still well over $400... I don't remember 3rd place prize! Sorry! Yikes!!

Well, as the contest came to a close, my husband Jerry ended up being in 1st place with the top number of votes. On November 23, 2013 - They announced the winners!! Yaaaay!

The next day, November 24, 2013 - I entered on their Twitter contest and won. My prize, a pretty Sterling Silver & CZ Premium Heart Photo Pendant.

Product Review - Herbal Essences Body Wash

I received from the fine folks at Crowdtap, this 1.2 oz sample of the new Herbal Essences Body Wash to try out and give a review. The scent sample I got was Hello Hydration. Unfortunately, my bottle arrived squished or exploded! However, it was packaged inside a little baggie and didn't leak out on the insert. I was able to salvage most of the body wash to use in three different shower times. :)

As expected with all of Herbal Essences products, the scent was captivating and intoxicating! It wasn't overpowering but it was quite refreshing - both in and out of the shower.

I know there are mixed reviews of this body wash and personally, I think it's got a lot to do with skin types. For me, my skin is naturally very soft & sensitive to a lot of perfumes and chemicals.. and not dry except in the elbow area. I think for me, it lathered up pretty well and left me feeling clean and smelling great. The scent didn't last AS long on me as I had hoped for - but that's also not a big deal for me since I usually apply perfume after an hour or so of toweling off. However, if you're looking for that long-lasting scent, I wouldn't look too far when looking at this one.. at least not this particular scent. Perhaps one of the other scents would be stronger and last longer...?

I think they're worth another try and I'll probably try at least 2 more scents before I decide whether or not to go back to my normal body wash.
