Hidden Menu Items

Recently my husband and I had the pleasure of going to one of our newest Tijuana Flats locations and trying out several of their "hidden menu" items we'd heard so much about.  If you're lucky enough to live in a state that has a Tijuana Flats, we highly recommend you try for yourselves these tasty items!

This location located at 5318 Sunset Blvd Suite H, Lexington, SC 29072 is easy to find and has ample parking.  The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of their menu (and hidden menu).  The mural on the wall (pictured above at the top of the blog here) is stunning person!  We learned that most of the ceiling tiles artwork were created by local Middle School kids!  How awesome is that?  I had secretly hoped they'd send me home with a tile of my own to get creative with.  ;)

#flatshiddenmenu items are AMAZING!

The Beefy Queso was fabulous!

And those Double Stack Cheesy Tacos 🌮 😱 🤤

The Atom Bombs are so unique!

And who doesn’t love Mexican Pizza?!

Mmmm but you definitely saved the best for last.. Cookie Dough Flautas! 😍 🙌🏼 Just take my money please! 😂

Head on over to read MORE about our experience and to see more photos where I've detailed it all on the awesome blog, TTMPGA.

They offer so many different sauces to go with your food, ranging from decently mild to super hot!  Be careful of which you try, some of them have a nice kick!  Honestly, the sauces alone make me want to come back but the food IS amazing.  They also offer their sauces for sale if you want to take some home.  :)

So... How exactly did Tijuana Flats become Tijuana Flats?  In 1995, Brian Wheeler, decided to open his own restaurant despite having never worked in one before after his dad loaned him $20,000.  Brian opened the first Tijuana Flats in Winter Park, Florida.  He created his own line of hot sauces shortly thereafter; the “Smack My Ass & Call Me Sally” brand, which includes some of the hottest sauces in the world!  In 1999, Brian’s success caught the eye of former restaurant industry hotshot Camp Fitch, who left retirement to become partner & chairman of Tijuana Flats.  Since then, Tijuana Flats has grown to more than 130 restaurants in six very lucky states, ours included!

Tijuana Flats also believes in GIVING BACK to the communities.  To them, where we live & work is the heart of Tijuana Flats restaurants & foundation.  Their support is focused on – but not exclusive to –organizations benefiting CHILDREN & our BRAVE MILITARY in their time of need.  They're here to aid people and programs in our local communities in times of need and in the unexpected times of tragedy.  Since 2007, the Tijuana Flats Just In Queso Foundation has raised over $3500000 and donated countless hours to help those in need.
