Embossed Suede Kippot - Stars of David

Suede Kippot were introduced in the late 1960’s when suede picked up in fad and came swinging into style.  With suede being all the rage, cropping up virtually everywhere, it didn’t take long for someone to say, Hey!  Why not Suede Kippot?!

So the suede Kippah took shape.  However, because it couldn’t be cut like its popular predecessor, the 100 year old fairly flexible satin Kippah, it somehow never looked right…  The innovation was at a crossroads, with many loudly calling the idea a failure, but after some intense deliberations and heated discussions in old Polish “Yiddish” the Brooklynite designers experimented with a flatter, more open cut Yarmulke, fastened by a pair of Kippah Clips…  the rest as they say is history.
