Getting The Look -NYC Tri Eye Shadow

The HD Color Trio Eye Shadow delivers high-intensity color with a silky soft texture.  This light weight formula blends effortlessly for the ultimate smoky eye look.  This eye shadow palette has light reflecting properties that provide a dazzling sparkle and luminous appearance to your eye area.  It's infused with green tea extract and vitamins A and E.  It's currently available in 12 shades.. I received the colors Long Beach Sands.

The top color, is the highlighter.  As you can see it's a pale peach-beige. The middle color, is the all over lid.  It's more of a cocoa brown.  And finally the last color, is for the crease line.  To me, it's like a light coffee with creamer added to it.

Blending the three colors together, you can easily get the perfect smoky eye look in that beautiful brown vs the typical black and grays.

I applied them as instructed on one eyelid first to show you a comparison.

The eye shadows are little dry and don't go on quite as smooth as I would like them to.  I had to apply a couple of times to get the color that I was looking for... However, the color really does last a long time!  This trio pallet comes with a little sponge applicator... And I do mean little!  I suppose if you were in a pinch and really needed to use a brush, you could use it but I personally used my own brush instead.

I most recently received the Jolly VoxBox.

First up is Puffs Plus Lotion tissues. These are the softest tissues I have ever used! They're great for on-the-go use.. throw em in your purse, back pocket, glove compartment.. wherever!  Then you will have them when you want them or need them.. or when someone else you're with has a tissue emergency!  These are better than the typical "to-go" brands of tissues in my opinion.. mainly because they have that aloe lotion and are sooo soft and are not harsh on your skin.

 

Second is the NYC New York Color Trio Eye Shadow.. I received 3 lovely shades of brown.. which compliment my brown eyes!  I love how pretty the eye shadow looks and how long lasting it is.  However, the color pigment itself is not as strong as I would like it.  It does take several applications for the color to really show, but the overall look of the eye shadows are great.

Next up is the Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer in LUNA. This color is sort of a peachy-pink.  It's simply adorable and you lips are so shiny!!  I absolutely love how long it stays on your lips and how soft it makes them feel!  The lipstick finish is a little dry as well, but with a little moisturizing before hand and lip gloss on tip, I think the color looks great.

Next in the box.. I received, OMG, a FULL size box of Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates!!!  I am in LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE with this candy!!  And best of all, with only 130 calories per pouch, I don't  feel even the slightest bit guilty for indulging!  LOL!  This chocolate candy is so incredibly smooth, creamy and deliciously sweet.  I absolutely love chocolate but to have chocolate that’s low in calories and still tastes good is awesomesauce in my books!

Last in my box was the Ducklings Mini-Rolls Tape.  Now remember, this is a mini.. Aside from crafts, I'm not sure what you would use this for..  The tape is 0.75 in. by 180 in.  It still has the durability the Duck Tape brand is known for, but the glue on it isn't AS sticky as the large tape, which is a good thing in my opinion.  The pattern I received was bright and colorful but I personally didn't care for it and wouldn't have purchased this particular design myself.  I like a lot of the patterns I found online and I'm hoping they'll release more - like they have in their larger size!

Product Review - Bullet Designs

Recently, I won a giveaway from another blog, Live Laugh Love... and my prize was a set of gorgeous jewelry from the 40 Caliber Fire & Ice Collection from Bullet Designs

I wasn't sure if I would keep the collection for myself or share the pieces.  Since I'm disabled and have no fingers - I decided to split the three pieces up between my two sisters and myself.  I gifted the ring to my sister Mikie and the necklace will be going to my sister, Sue.  The earrings, I'll keep and wear! ;)

Product Review - The Hype about Hipe

What's all the hype about Hipe?  Well this lightweight, hanging, Bluetooth, waterproof, speaker packs some powerful sound!  It's easy-to-use and pairs up flawlessly with your devices.  I love the hanging capability vs some other waterproof Bluetooth speakers that you have to set down.  It's waterproof to IPx6 (sprayed water) so it's NOT submersible!

But don't let the fact that this is a shower speaker fool you into thinking that this is just for shower use!  It makes a great travel speaker for activities you enjoy outdoors... Take it on hikes, bike rides, walks, the beach, the pool, the park, BBQ's... possibilities are endless!

The sound quality is wonderful and even the incoming phone calls come in clear.  You can adjust the volume on your paired device and directly on the speaker itself!  The buttons on the control panel allow you to toggle songs, pause, answer the phone, adjust the volume and link Bluetooth to your devices.

So, if I could add one thing it would be some kind of screen to show you who is calling and the names of the songs you're toggling through - other than that, it's perfect!
