Personally, I was let down and disappointed to discover that there are no pictures in this ebook.  Even though it's a slow cooker cookbook, any cookbook that isn't one of the old vintage cookbooks or a family cookbook that has no pictures is a no-no for me and my list of favorites.  It might sound silly but people like photos to go along with recipes - it makes a recipe more appealing, let's the cook know what to somewhat expect and it can make you crave it!

Also, I believe in two key factors when making my final review on this..  The title is misleading.. the reasons why.. First, the lack of photos - which I pretty much summed up above - but to further explain, if this is a book for a typical beginner, photos need to be in this book, whether it's a series of photos showing a before and after or just a pretty photo of the final dishes on display.  Second, the part about "lose weight fast".. I'm not quite sure how exactly this cookbook helps to promote weight loss.  None of them include estimated serving totals or hint of nutritional information.  None of them include healthy substitutions.  A lot of them have fattening ingredients that most people avoid when dieting!  I think any book targeted towards "beginners" needs to also include some helpful tips and tricks as well.  It also should not say it's a step-by-step guide when there are no step-by-step photos for the beginners out there.  I know I may seem very critical but I'm an avid home cook and collect amazing recipe books.

So, I'm just an average consumer like most here.. and I love to help others.  This review is simply a compilation of my thoughts and opinions of this product.  If you have any questions I could answer, please ask and I'll do my very best!

Would I buy again? / Any regrets?: I would not purchase this again but who knows, someone else might enjoy this book more than I did.

Thanks for reading and good luck!
