The applicator has some sharp edges that can poke and hurt if you're not careful. Overall, the product works pretty well. Change it regularly, of course.. doesn't seem to move around and make you leak when running or engaging in sports and play. Personal downside for me is that it's "lightly scented" ... sorry but adding fragrance to something going in my hoo-ha isn't attractive to me.. I don't want a risk of a yeast infection by unnecessary perfumes & besides, no one needs to be sniffing their tampons for freshness, neither before or after usage! Take the scent out, fix the applicator and it'd be 5 stars from me! :)
