Product Review - Firestarter Cosmetics

Firestarter Cosmetics specializes in vegan friendly eye shadow, lip balms and more!  They're based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Personally, I have only tried natural/vegan make-up products a few times and they were always very expensive and more than I could afford!

Firestarter Cosmetics products are all very reasonably priced!  For 1-2 grams of Eye Shadow, you'll pay anywhere between $3.00-$5.00.  These shadows blend very well - which is awesome considering they're loose powder vs pressed.  A little goes a long way!

For a limited time - all orders placed with totals of $5.00 and more will receive 10% OFF with this coupon code: Fire14

I received 4 full-sized eye shadows, a lip balm, clay mask & 2 sample shadows from the lovely ladies of Firestarter Cosmetics.

Due to my allergy of Coconut, I promptly passed the lip balm to a friend to test out.  Her opinion was, "It's creamy and feels nice on my lips but it tastes like a burnt rubber band.."

The clay mask was wonderful and left my skin feeling very soft.  I didn't experience any bad reactions or any acne breakout.  I have sensitive skin and was afraid at first but then remembered all of their products are natural and vegan!
The 4 colors I received and tried out are:
These particular colors all cost $3.00 each.

Call me crazy, but these colors are perfect for a Mardi Gras look!  And that's exactly what I went for when I tried them out.  :)  The colors went on perfectly.  They are bold and vibrant and the colors really pop with artificial lighting.  My camera could not catch the beauty of these colors and what they really look like when you're seeing them face-to-face!

I used Purple Monkey Dishwasher as a liner for the bottom and top.  Bathroom was my all-over color.  Living Room L&R was used in the crease and Eat My Dust is used as a brow highlighter.

These were taken with the camera on my iPad mini

These were taken with my Canon PowerShot digital camera.

I recommend these products for many reasons.. They're affordable, they're natural/vegan, the eye shadow colors are amazing and they blend fabulously!
